Vicki H. White is an Associate of the Museums Association and was published by Saraband under her middle name Hendry. Her first novel, A Capital Union, made the final short list of the Historical Writers’ Association Debut Crown. The Last Tour of Archie Forbes followed. She has performed at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, and Wigtown and Harrogate book festivals. She also taught Creative Writing on Edinburgh City Council’s evening class programme and founded two writing groups for women and students. In 2023, she graduated with an MFA in painting from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art.
