Katelyn joined the Nethergate Writers in 2023, and was elected to the committee as webmaster in 2024. The group has helped her gain the confidence to share her work with others and the space to grow as a writer.
Hailing from Ireland, Katelyn’s interests range from all things gothic and macabre to animals of the amphibious variety (mainly axolotls).
Having recently graduated with a degree in philosophy, her work tackles socio-political issues through evocative use of classical and religious imagery. Her work has recently been published in Anarkiss: Volume II, the Nethergate Writer’s own ‘Living With the Machine’, New Isles Press Issue 4, and is soon to be published online by Anthropocene in Summer 2025.
