K.A. Nielsen (she/they) has recently joined Nethergate Writers after moving to Dundee. They write stories that explore belief, desire, community, and oddities both real and imagined. Kelly grew up in Georgia (U.S.), but they have also called Sweden, Turkey, and Indonesia home. Her work is published at Milk Candy Review, Fusion Fragment, voidspace, and elsewhere.
At present they are revising their first novel—a complex, time-bending exploration of faith, its loss, and what it means to belong. The book has visions, folk art, hunger, queerness, and slightly too many words.
