One of our members, Gillian Duff, has been awarded the Val McDermid Prize for Best Dissertation following her graduation from the University of Dundee’s MLitt in Crime Writing and Forensic Investigation.

The course is the first of it’s kind in the UK, and covers real life forensic science and law alongside creative writing, to help make sure that budding crime writers can get the key technical details spot on.
